Accu-Tech Laser Processing is transitioning to a new larger facility to accommodate our growth! We are moving just down the road and staying in San Marcos, California. Our new facility will give us room for more laser equipment to better serve our customers’ requirements. We expect the move to be complete in 30 days. There should be little to no impact on our part delivery schedules during this time. We do not expect any weather delays since the winters in Southern California are typically warm and dry.
Wishing a Happy Holiday to all especially in these trying times. Be safe, please wear a mask.
Accu-Tech continues to serve our Critical Infrastructure Sector customers by maintaining thorough disinfecting protocols and monitoring the health and well being of our employees.

A new laser marker workstation is up and running at Accu-Tech Laser Processing. This adds to our capabilities for marking, as well as serializing parts for tracking or advertising. Check out our examples of parts with laser marking.
Our laser will put permanent marks on your components, as a result, the laser engraving will not wash off or peel.
Alpha numeric characters, graphics, and barcodes can be laser marked onto a variety of materials, as well as on a variety of sizes of parts. Plastics, metals, and ceramics are a few materials. Medical, defense, and commercial are applications that benefit from marking. Many applications require that components are uniquely identified (serialized) for tracking in addition to traceability.
Below is an example of a laser marked metal business card (standard 3.5″x2″) with logo and text. These metal cards are anodized aluminum. They come in several colors to match your company color scheme. Metal business cards are durable and will stand out from the crowd to promote your business. Our laser marker can help!
The IPC APEX Expo 2019 in San Diego, CA on January was a great show. Our sales and Engineering team got to put a face to the names of many existing contacts.
They were able to ‘talk shop’ regarding via production on printed circuit boards as well as flex circuit needs. Examples of our ceramic capabilities were on display as well. New contacts found out how Accu-Tech Laser Processing can help with current and future projects.
The Accu-Tech team exhibited at the IMAPS show (International Microelectronics Assembly and Packaging). This event was held October 8-11, 2018 in Pasadena CA . The engineering team discussed possible applications, as well as solutions with visitors to our booth. Laser machining and marking fit well in the field of Microelectronics manufacturing.
Many good contacts were made, as well as, visiting with old friends and business partners.
The next iMAPS show is Oct 2019 in Boston.
Accu-Tech is in the final phase of integrating a new Laser Workstation into its Micro Via – Flex Panel department. This new laser tool will boost our capacity and add backup systems to better serve our quick turnaround circuit board customers. While this new workstation is already carrying its share of the load. It is going through final checks and updates to boost its capabilities and ease of use. This long wave InfraRed laser is excellent for removing thin dielectric from lower copper layers. This applies to pad production and multilayer connections.
For further capabilities of this new tool, check out our PCB page.
